CREATIVE DIRECTION | LOGO DESIGN | ARCHITECTURAL BRANDING
Led creative direction and logo development for Dr. Justina Ford Elementary School – a brand new, state of the art elementary school in southwest Denver.
Logo
Adults usually call the shots. But not with this logo. In fact, it was students who submitted design concepts - a fox with the mountains was the winner. It was a joy to take their concept and turn it into a professional logo the community can be proud of for years to come.
Gym floor
This one was special. I’ve seen projects I’ve worked on printed or displayed on all kinds of things, big and small. But to see a logo - that started as a pencil sketch - on a gym floor, just hits differently.
website
Built on the same web platform that we created for Littleton Public Schools, we were able to seamlessly incorporate all of Ford’s colors and branding into their new site.
architectural brandinG
Architectural branding is super cool. Sure, it’s necessary from a visual marketing standpoint – and often times from a legal standpoint – but the fun challenge is designing branding that also fits into the architect’s & builder’s visions for the building. It also presents an opportunity to design in different mediums – like metal, brick and wood!
Swag
School swag. Hoodies. Sweatpants. Shirts. Hats. Mugs. Car decals. Socks! You get the idea…
marketing materials
This was the first new school to be built in this community in decades. So you can assure they pulled out all the stops to thank the taxpayers for making it possible and to build excitement for this historic grand opening.
